| 本課程培養學生下列知識： |

本課程目標在促進學生對於專技英語(ESP)教學中各項重要議題的認知與應用。完成課程的學生須能理解相關教學理論，明確定位ESP學習者的需求，進而能應用所得知識規劃ESP課程。1.熟悉專技英語的理論、定義與其歷史2.熟悉專技英語教學與研究相關議題3.熟悉專技英語學習者的需求分析4.熟悉專技英語課程設計與發展5.熟悉專技英語的評量Students who complete this course should be able to demonstrate understanding of the theoretical and pedagogical issues in ESP (English for Specific Purpose) teaching; identify the needs of ESP learners and apply the knowledge to the syllabus design and course development for an ESP teaching context.
