| 本課程培養學生下列知識： |

1. 知識：介紹數學量化方法將有限的資源(人力、物力、財力), 使其發揮其最高效能, 或是如何以最經濟的成本, 有效達成預期之目標。
2. 技能：瞭解數學方法之基本原理; 建立問題之數學模型; 使用最佳化軟體求解
3. 態度：培養學生對企業最佳化問題之瞭解及可能協肋解決問題之工具
4. 其他：為後續進階數量方法基礎及系統開發之應用1.學生能了解作業研究中常見的數學模型的用途。2.學生能了解數學模型建模的過程。3.學生能了解如何用作業研究的工具解決企業的問題。4.學生能了解作業研究工具的基本原理。5.學生能撰寫最佳化程式以求最佳解。This course is about the use of quantitative models to aid in managerial decision making. An emphasis is placed on understanding the management science models and utilizing the results of these models in a way that is meaningful to a decision maker.
