| 本課程培養學生下列知識： |
|
社會工作的奠基者致力於為弱勢群體提供支持。他們的努力包括研究弱勢群體的問題、分析需求，以及找到解決問題的有效路徑。他們必須為所倡議的改革找到說服社會大眾的理由。
然而，目前的社會工作教育過多地聚焦於社會工作實務的執行流程與技巧，忽略了說服社會大眾與社會菁英的倡議能力。
在宣傳時，社會工作員通常只會用理想主義的腔調控訴社會的邪惡、弱勢群體的悲情，或者誇誇其談愛與理想。我們在公共領域看不到務實地討論問題與解決方案，我們看不到意見歧異的各方在公平的條件下辯論協商。上述狀況只會讓公共論述趨於情緒化、極端化，而非理性化。
1.瞭解制度變革的政治-社會過程。2.瞭解二次戰後重要社會改革的歷史背景與社會衝突歷程。3.瞭解網路時代之前與之後，針對社會爭議話題的意見表達方式、動員結盟方式、折衝協調方式…等的變遷。4.讓學生規劃一場全國性或地方性倡議行動，並用同儕評論的方式檢討倡議方案的目的、理念、程序以及資源動員方式的合理性。The founders of social work are committed to providing support to disadvantaged groups.
Their efforts include studying the problems of disadvantaged groups, analyzing their needs, and finding effective ways to solve the problems.
They must find reasons to persuade the public for the reforms they are proposing.
However, current social work education focuses too much on the implementation process and skills of social work practices, and ignores the ability to persuade the public and social elites.
When propagating, social workers usually only use idealistic accents to control the evil of society, the sadness of disadvantaged groups, or exaggerate love and ideals. We do not see pragmatic discussion of problems and solutions in the public domain, and we do not see parties with disagreements discussing and negotiating under fair conditions. The above situation will only make public discourse more emotional and extreme, rather than rational.
