| 本課程培養學生下列知識： |
|
聯合國於 1989 年通過《聯合國兒童權利公約》(The UN Convention on the rights of the child)(CRC)為保障與提升兒少人權的重要指南，公約的內涵立基於三個「P」：第一個「P」為「提供」（provision），第二個「P」為「保護」（protection)，第三個「P」則為「參與」（participation）。 意即，兒少應享有：(1)生存與發展的權利、(2)不受虐待與剝削的權利、以及 (3)參與各項影響他們自身事務之權利。 台灣亦於2014年通過兒童權利公約施行法，賦予CRC國內法律效力，並要求日後法令制訂和機關職權皆須遵守此國際基礎標準，以保障兒童少年基本人權。
本課程為研究所選修課程，主要以兒童福祉與權利的觀點出發，引導同學深入了解兒少保護現象、原因、理論，以及替代性照顧服務政策發展與內涵，並且介紹澳洲兒童訊息共享工作模式（Child Information Sharing Scheme, CISS），協助同學對以兒童權利為中心的保護與服務工作議題的掌握，並對相關政策與未來發展方向有所深思。
1.協助學生了解兒童權利與兒少最佳利益的概念。2.協助學生了解兒童少年福利服務的發展與理論觀點，並且能思考運用分析。3.從兒少最佳利益觀點，協助學生在現今政府的社會安全制度下，學習以共案模式進行兒少保護與家庭暴力之問題需求評估、處遇。4.探討兒少保護與替代照顧服務各個面向的議題，培養學生在微視面、中介面與鉅視面的社工專業素養，以及實務評估與批判能力。The United Nations adopted the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) in 1989 as an important guide to the protection and promotion of the human rights of child and adolescent. The connotation of CRC is based on three P’s: "provision", "protection", and "participation". This means that child is entitled to: (1) the right to survival and development, (2) the right not to be abused and exploited, and (3) the right to participate in matters affecting themselves. Taiwan also adopted a law implementing the convention on the rights of the child in 2014 to give CRC domestic legal validity. Taiwan government also required future decree-making and organization operation to comply with this international basic standard to protect the basic human rights of children and adolescents.
