| 本課程培養學生下列知識： |

本課程主要介紹進階統計學的理論、方法、與應用，並偏重於基礎數理統計、迴歸分析與變異數分析等。本課程複習部分基礎統計(包括抽樣及抽樣分布，點及區間估計，假設檢定等)，並著重於迴歸分析，變異數分析，以及無母數分析，以使學生具備完整之統計分析技巧，應用於學術論文研究及產業實務。 本課程透過一系列的案例演練來增進學生統計分析的技巧，並以專題報告的方式來提昇學生的溝通及寫作能力。1.了解基礎統計方法之理論基礎與應用。2.了解進階統計如迴歸分析、變異數分析、簡單實驗設計、以及無母數分析之理論基礎與應用。3.有效使用統計軟體(SPSS)於實務資料之統計分析。4.搜尋整理統計相關文獻。5.以口頭及書面方式，有效溝通統計分析結果。This course aims to provide advanced statistics theory and some application of statistical methods. It reviews some of the fundamental statistics (including sampling and sample distribution, point and interval estimation, hypothesis testing) and introduces advanced topics such as ANOVA, regression analysis, and Nonparametric Statistics. The purpose is to facilitate students with sound statistical skill in studying academic research as well as solving real-world problems. A series of real-world cases are provided for students to manipulate using SPSS to enhance their statistical skill, while a term project is designed to improve students’ communication and written skill.
