本課程培養學生下列知識：
此課程希望透過各式英文閱讀策略，學生能應用所學的英文閱讀技巧並建立批判思考能力。

1.Enhance students' English comprehension and expression
2.Enhance students’ ability to critically analyze English articles and communication skills
3.Strengthen students' ability to express their opinions in English
4.Enhance students practical views within the larger community

This course is designed to help students apply their reading skills to understand and interpret main concepts, organization and contexts of materials. Through varied reading strategies, it also can build up their critical-thinking ability.
