本課程培養學生下列知識: |
本課為現代語言學的導論課程。旨在使學生了解並運用現代語言學的理論與研究方法。以及研究成果之各種運用。1.To introduce learners to modern linguistics2.To introduce how language can be scientifically studies3.To acquaint learners with theoretical linguistics and its interdisciplinary import4.To cultivate the observation, and/or, the study of language as a personal habitThe purpose of this introductory course is to provide students with a basic understanding of human language: what it is, how it works, and how it can be explored as a profession or as an outside interest. It introduces principles and methods professional linguists employ in exploring human language. It also covers how the research results can be applied to other areas such as L1 and L2 acquisition, natural language processing, language and gender, and language and cultural studies, etc.
