本課程目標在於提升學生對於Newsweek與Time 等國際級相關讀物的閱讀與翻譯能力與技巧，進而強化對於CNN、BBC, 與VOA等國際新聞廣播的聽力與同步翻譯能力。
1.加強學生的相關新聞英文之翻譯能力

3.加強學生對相關新聞英文之基本寫作能力
4.加強學生對相關新聞英文歸納討論之基本能力

In the long term, they will be equipped with an ability to listen to CNN, BBC, or VOA and to perform simultaneous interpretation.is to facilitate students to understand etymology (prefix, suffix, and root), grammatology, and syntax.
