本課程培養學生下列知識：
主要是建立學生自信並學習如何公開作英文演說。內容由淺而深、循序漸進。演說技巧由如何克服緊張開始；分析聽眾、演講實況，進而設計、準備演說及收集資料至如何作場成功的英文演說。This course will be taught in English.

1.Create strong openings and closings
2.Build audience rapport through eye contact, vocal delivery and body language
3.Organize key points into a coherent story
4.Improve personal voice projection, articulation, pacing, and fluency
5.Capture and maintain audience interest and attention using interactive techniques

After completing this course, students will be able to give speeches effectively. The contents are designed step by step from how to control nervousness to how to design/ deliver speeches and how to prepare to speak, including analyzing the speaking situation and audience, collecting data and outlining speeches. The informative and persuasive speeches will be emphasized. This course will be taught in English.
