| 本課程培養學生下列知識： |
|
本課程旨在培養學生觀察生活周遭事物的洞察力及具備公民記者素養及批判思考能力。課程內容包括對新聞事件分辨真偽及背後立場的辨別力。透過練習英文新聞寫作過程協助學生提升英語能力。最後學生須實際訪談生活周遭人物，撰寫成英文稿，以英語播報該新聞方式呈現。1.學習觀察事件、收集、分析、查證相關資料。2.學習有條理敘事邏輯。3.以英語表達事件起因、過程、及其影響。4.培養批判思考的能力。The course aims to help students cultivate their sensitivity in observing the events happening in their surroundings, and further develop the competency of citizen journalism and critical thinking. The course covers the logic and rationale behind news and how to decipher fake news.
At the end of the course, students will have to finish a project, including interviewing a campus figure, collecting, analyzing, and organizing the relevant information in order to write a campus news article, and finally orally present the news in a form of news broadcast in English.
