| 本課程培養學生下列知識： |
|
統計是一門分析資料的工具學科，分為描述統計與推論統計兩類。描述統計以討論集中量數、變異量數、與關係量數三種統計量數為主，推論統計則包括母數及無母數各類假設考驗與估計。使學生能熟悉處理資料時的步驟，分辨各種統計方法的適用時機，對於分析結果能正確解釋其意義，以培養科學態度與邏輯思考能力。本階段的社會統計以推論統計為主要內容，強調針對不同性質的資料與研究設計，選擇適當的統計方法，並根據結果對母群體的特性作合理的推論。1.瞭解預測的原理、求出迴歸方程式、計算預測區間。2.瞭解抽樣分配、假設類別、顯著水準、自由度、信賴區間等推論統計的基本原理與重要概念。3.依據假設考驗的步驟，完成z考驗、t考驗、卡方考驗等統計推論的程序。4.對於母群體的特性，做出不同信賴水準的區間估計。Statistics is a subject about data analysis. It is divided into two areas: descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistics is mainly concerned with three kinds of statistical measures, namely measures of central tendency, measures of variability, and measures of relationships. Inferential statistics includes different kinds of hypothesis testing and estimation for parameters and nonparameters. Through the systemic learning materials, students should be familiar with the process of data analysis, and able to explain the meaning of the results correctly. The main content of this course focuses on inferential statistics, emphasizing the selection of appropriate statistical methods depending on the different nature of data and research design, and reasonable inferences for population characteristics according to the results.
