本課程培養學生下列知識：

本課程旨在使學生熟悉論文寫作之原理及規範，對研究主題從事邏輯性之分析與衡量，根據所得結論評估其相關決策。 1.具備研究方法之基本原理與概念。 2.具備研究設計及分析能力。 3.具備呈現嚴謹研究結果的能力。 The objective of this one-semester mandatory course is to equip the students with an understanding of the nature, and steps involved in conducting an empirical research in social sciences as well as the skills of preparing a research proposal and the presentation of research results. Through rigorous training with respect to the abovementioned topics, the students should be able to write quality thesis.
