本課程培養學生下列知識：

本課程在於對英美小說中的不同時期、傳統、作家、與作品的了解、分析、與詮釋。 對於主要作品的深入探討為重要目標之一。 1.對英美小說中的不同時期、傳統、作家、與作品的了解 2.對英美小說中的不同時期、傳統、作家、與作品的分析 3.對英美小說中的不同時期、傳統、作家、與作品的詮釋 This course is to survey the major novelists and their works in order to explore major periods, traditions, and conventions of novelistic representations. Students are supposed to know how to analyze, interpret, and decipher some of the major works in both British and American novels.
