本課程培養學生下列知識：

本課程目的在增進學生閱讀原文書的能力，培養閱讀的興趣及效率,並藉以增加其相關之化學知識。基本化學英文句型及英文解讀技巧為此課程之教學重點。 1.具備熟悉化學專業字彙與單詞的能力 2.具備閱讀普通化學原文課文之能力 3.具備翻譯原文科技資訊之能力 4.具備理解英文句型及基本文法的能力 As a first course in its series, this course covers basic structure analysis of the technical English and translation. Selected topics from general chemistry, chemical news, etc. An objective is to teach students familiarizing with the chemical terms.
