| 本課程培養學生下列知識： |
|
本課程專以閱讀本國與外國經典名著與重要文件（體裁包括：論文、專著、調查報告、行動宣言、事件報導、演講稿…等），來理解重要文獻的內涵及認識對社工發展的影響，進而增加學生的專業涵養；學生將會立基於一般知識／常識再進而深化專業領域的知識。每堂課將由授課教師導讀文獻內容及講解意涵，學生則透過課堂前的閱讀、課堂上的討論以及教師的引導來思辨、發想、及反饋，以讓文本傳遞的知識回到活生生的歷史場景、社會爭議與先驅者的思辯之中，增進學生對社會工作的興趣。1.瞭解社會工作興起的歷史社會背景。2.瞭解社會工作重要理念、理論、工作方法的原始發想3.認識重要的思想家及實務先驅者的重要貢獻This course builds students’ advanced knowledge beyond common knowledge/sense by providing rich collection of classics in social work. Readings are given for each session. Instructors will guide students through the content with a thorough introduction to the background and the implication to the field while facilitate critical thinking. Please note that readings are available in the iLMS or in the class. Students are required to preview assigned readings before attending class. This course emphasizes the necessity of reading activity and the thinking process of participant students. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
1.Understand the history and evolution of the profession
2.Understand the origins of important values, theories and methods.
3.Know the important works of pioneers and influential people in social work
