| 本課程培養學生下列知識： |

上學期必修課程，包括：國家安全、國防科技、三軍概要。國家安全：政治與國家安全、經濟與國家安全、軍事與國家安全、危機處理與國家安全；國防科技：戰甲車、戰艦、戰機、飛彈、電子戰、核生化；三軍概要：認識陸、海、空軍，陸、海、空軍作戰，陸、海、空軍未來發展。1.國家安全概論：使學生了解國家安全的涵義、研究範圍、影響國家安全的因素，及國家長治久安之道，進而深切體認國家安全的重要性，熱愛國家、報效國家。2.國防科技概論：使學生對世界各國武器及武器系統作有系統的認識，並對我國獨立自主的國防體系與國防科技發展的成就有所了解，以啟發青年學生參與國防科技研究的興趣。3.三軍概要：使學生了解我國三軍的緣起、發展、任務、特性、職責、教育、訓練、未來發展，與當前我國三軍軍事戰略，增進三軍與現階段戰略的認識。1st year semester of a half required course comprise : national security , defense of science and engineering , indicated that the army , navy & air force .
