| 本課程培養學生下列知識： |
|
此課程經設計用以訓練主修環境工程、科學及管理之四技學生。所有之課程教材均為英文材料。此課程於課堂授課時包括訓練學生之正確發音，以及以英文解釋環境科學領域之特定專業名詞。另外，有關環境科學及相關領域之最新文獻（包括期刊文獻者）亦納為課程之教材。學生會被要求於課堂朗讀及解釋所發下之講義內容。修課學生之英語文發音、朗讀及筆試（包括期中與期末考試）均作為評量學生修課成績之依據。1.瞭解環境工程專有名詞之意義（知識）。2.訓練閱讀有關環境領域之英文期刊（技能）。3.提昇本系學生外語能力（技能）。This course is designed to train the undergraduate students who major in environmental engineering, science, and management. All teaching materials are in English. The students are firstly trained to have correct pronunciation, and then the explanation of the specific and professional terms of the field of environmental science. In addition, the contents of updated references and/or journal references including environmental science and associated fields are also involved in teaching materials. The students are required to read and then explain the contents of dispatched handouts. The English pronunciation, reading, and written examinations (midterm and final examinations) are used as the evaluation for students’ scores.
