本課程培養學生下列知識：

無線網路為一種透過無線方式達到通訊目的的網路架構，本課程首先探討無線網路的組成、種類與結構，繼而針對無線網路的協定進行討論，本課程之課程目標為： 1.膫解通訊服務網路（PCS network）的基本架構與網路上的各個元件 2.膫解各種無線通訊（wireless communication）的技術 3.膫解無線電傳輸的基本原理 4.膫解無線電傳輸的通信協定 The goal of this course is to provide students with a basic knowledge of the computer networking. The main topics include networking introduction, Physical Layer of Networks, Data-link Layer of Networks, Network Layer of Networks, and Application Layer of Networks. Students will realize the following backgrounds of this course after completing the course: 1. The function of each network layer; 2. The operation of inter-layer; 3. Understand the operation of protocols; 4. Understand the algorithms and concepts of layered protocols.
