本課程培養學生下列知識: |
主要是建立學生自信並學習如何公開作英文演說。內容由淺而深、循序漸進。演說技巧由如何克服緊張開始;分析聽眾、演講實況,進而設計、準備演說及收集資料至如何作場成功的英文演說。1.Create strong openings and closings2.Build audience rapport through eye contact, vocal delivery and body language3.Organize key points into a coherent story4.Improve personal voice projection, articulation, pacing, and fluency5.Capture and maintain audience interest and attention using interactive techniquesAfter completing this course, students will be able to give speeches effectively. The contents are designed step by step from how to control nervousness to how to design/ deliver speeches and how to prepare to speak, including analysing the speaking situation and audience, collecting data and outlining speeches. The informative and persuasive speeches will be emphasized.
