本課程培養學生下列知識：

本課程將帶領學生一窺微生物學之殿堂。首先就微生物的基本認識做一般性的介紹，再討論個別菌體，然後再對微生物之利用加以闡述。 1.細胞構造與功能及顯微鏡與微生物染色之分類。 2.微生物之養分需求與生長。 3.微生物於環境生長之控制。 4.原核生物之特性與分類。 5.真核生物之特性與分類。 6.病毒、類病毒及 Prions 之特性與分類。 This course provides students a general understanding on microbiology. Several topics will be discussed, such as an introduction of microbiology, bacteria, fungi and virus. In addition, various applications of microbial will also be covered.
