本課程培養學生下列知識：
本課程以哲學、宗教、心理輔導、及生命禮儀四大向度，對於生死問題做出跨科際(inter-curriculums)及跨文化(cross-culture)的探討，期能讓同學們獲得全方位的生死教育理念。

1.從哲學及宗教的角度探討以生命教育為核心的生死學
2.從心理輔導的層面探索對於過去生命創傷經驗之淨化(catharsis)
3.認識「安寧照護」
4.認識生命禮儀之終極關懷

This course aims to provide a prospective view of Life and Death by studying philosophy, religion thoughts, counseling, and the rites of life passage. Furthermore, by exploring and reflecting the relevant "death" events, the students will be led to gain the meaning of "life" and to evoke the passion of living.
