經由臺灣各地社區總體營造、在地常民文化的案例學習、研討及提案，培養具備法政與社會科學知識、民主與法治素養、多元文化涵養、獨立思考能力、敬業樂群品德、參與社區及地方文化服務之通識人才。1.增進學生對臺灣社區營造的發展認識2.拓展學生社會科學的通識視野3.深化學生民主與法治的素養4.促進學生多元文化的涵養5.鍛鍊學生獨立思考的能力6.培養學生敬業樂群的品德7.激勵學生對社區及地方文化服務的參與8.創造學生規劃提案的就業職場能力This course focuses on the thorough introduction and operation of community renainssance of the country and the urban in Taiwan.
The content of the course includes the lecture and the film-show of conservation of historical heritage, reconstruction of public space, heritage of traditional culture and handicraft, development of local industry, improvement of life environment, and protection of ecological system…etc.
To students taking the course, it can not only give students great enjoyment in gaining the knowledge and information of communities, but also provide students with practice experiences of community improvement. From the course, students ones will open a wild vision and gain a deeper cognizance of community development in Taiwan, others will concern with and participate in public affairs of community.
