學生修完此門課程，可促進學生的聽講會話之進階應用，激發興趣，練習英語的流暢度，充份應用各種教材軟體，聽講演練不同情境的對話。另外也提昇學生的英語更口語化，聽力也增加全民英檢測驗及托福測驗模擬試題，加強學生的聽力及語言應變能力。 |
Objectives |
The main goal of this course is to help students to become a more fluent speaker and listener of English by providing students with strategies that will help students to develop their listening comprehension and speaking skills in both academic and non-academic contexts. |

Syllabus |
This course is designed to enhance
students’ listening and speaking
abilities in American English through
intensive pronunciation, intonation,
and dictation drills. It will also reinforce
grammatical structures and specific
expressions used in situational
contexts. Students will be able to
initiate, minimally sustain and close
basic task related communications as
well as handle simple social
situations. |
