本課程讓學生瞭解老人教育、成人教育等之意涵與發展歷史，並探討台灣老人教育的問題。透過長青學苑等的實際訪視，讓學生體會老人教育的重要性。 |
Objectives |
The course will make students recognize the meaning and the history of Education for the Elderly and Adult Education. Also, to make them comment the problem of Taiwan Education for the Elderly. Visiting the organizations of Education for the Elderly to let them know how important it is. |

本課程主要以探討各主要國家(美國、英國、德國、法國、日本、韓國、中國大陸及臺灣)包括高齡教育的實施及重要的高齡教育活動作廣泛性的介紹，課中將討論包括；對各國重要的高齡教育活動的探討，則包括美國的老人寄宿所、退休學習學會、高齡者服務與資訊中心、高齡者中心、旅遊學習及英國的第三年齡大學、法國的自由時間大學、高齡機構的倡導計畫、大陸老年大學、日本老人大學等，最後一章則進行綜合歸納與比較分析，提出發展趨勢，以供學生深入了解高齡學習者對於高齡教育之需求。 |
