Objectives |
This course is intended to show the students how to make good translation from English into Chinese and vice versa with the help of some practical theories, and to guide the students step by step to the attainment of good translation through appropriate exercises and detailed discussions. |

Students are required to finish reading four works of translation in this semester in order to guide them the techniques used in reading and writing a literary work. Before midterm, they have to finish reading two novels and then finish the other two before final. |
