Objectives |
This course is designed to develop students" general listening comprehension and oral skills through a variety of strategies. Students will be asked to make predictions, draw inferences, outline, take notes, and listen for phonological clues that signal important information. Students will apply these strategies to a great variety of recorded English and discussions. |

Syllabus |
The course is designed to develop students' general listening comprehension and oral skills through a variety of strategies. Students will be able to follow a lecture, discussion or demonstration in English at advanced level. The course concentrates on listening, speaking, and taking notes.
Students will be asked to make predictions, draw inferences, outline, take notes, and listen for phonological clues that signal important information. Students will apply these strategies to a great variety of authentic English tasks and discussions. |
