本課程同時強調小尺度之戶外庭園之設計，例如社區或鄰里中庭或私人庭園設計；並探討較大尺度之室內庭園設計，例如商業空間、旅館大廳、機場空間、辦公空間之室內景觀設計。課程探討之內容包括室內植物簡介、選用及維護等議題，加強學生室內景觀空間設計之基本原理，引導學生熟習室內及室外庭園設計之實務技術及相關學理。 |
Objectives |
This course is covering the principles and practices of using plants indoors and outdoors. Emphasis will be placed on both the interaction between environmental factors and installation, maintenance and management of plants in large interior settings such as airport terminals, hotel lobbies, office complexes and shopping malls, and small scale of outside gardens such as courtyards, neighborhood garden and private house gardens. Installation and maintenance contracts, as well as cultural practices essential to plant survival and utilization will be treated in detail. The course prepares students to design and arrange flowers, foliage, and related plant materials for interior locations both residential and commercial, and interior landscape design will be included. |
