藉由都市設計理論與實務案例結合教學方式，讓學生培養對都市設計理論、都市設計規劃方法與技術、都市議題分析、都市美質與尺度分析、都市課題與策略擬提、及相關規劃實務技術之學習。 |
Objectives |
The object of this course let students to learn by urban design theory and practice of teaching methods, combined with case study, urban design and planning methods and technology, urban issues analysis, urban beauty and scale analysis, urban areas and strategies, and related technical planning practice. |

Syllabus |
This course will introduce theories and concepts of urban design. Applying case studies of urban design, this course will guide students exploring and employing those concepts and tools in design. It will include the following topic units:
1. urban issues and urban design
2. visions of urban development
3. urban froms and design principles
4. urban design guidelines |
