Objectives |
Through learning different operation research issues, the students are trained to understand the deterministic approach in operations research and to develop techniques for solving and analyzing relevant problems with mathematical models. |

Syllabus |
This course intends to provide the needed background to employ mathematical programming as a decision-making tool. It focuses on the solution techniques for various deterministic mathematical models. The topics to be covered include linear programming, duality theory, sensitivity analysis, transportation and assignment problems, network models, project management and goal programming. |
