課程目標 讓學生藉由解說與專題小組報告,瞭解材料科學與工程之重要,主要內容包括材料科學與工程緒論、奈米材料與科技、金屬材料、非金屬材料、有機高分子材料、複合材料等,並包含新能源材料、綠建材和再生材料。 Objectives Objectives: The course covers the fundamentals of the materials science and engineering through teaching explanation and group report which including introduction of materials science, metal materials, non-metal materials, organic polymer material, composite materials, new energy materials, green construction and recycle materials. The course also includes nano materials and nano technology.

Note:
1. The assigned homework must be handed in within one week except that you have good reasons.
2. Cheating in an exam, your score will be zero. If you help other people cheating in the exam, your score will be deducted 25 points.
3. 遲交或期末補繳作業,不給予計分。
材料科學小專題(Project)注意事項:
(一)每小組5至6人。
(二)於開學第三週(十月5日,星期四),由班長將分組名單交給老師。
(三)於第五週(十月20日,星期五),由班長將各組小專題題目交給老師。
(四)於第六週(十月27日,星期五),交小專題摘要(一頁)。
(五)於第十五週(十二月29日,星期五),交小專題完整之書面報告。
(六)於第十六週(一月5日,星期五),交小專題口頭報告之Power Point檔案與每組上台作口頭報告。
(七)小專題之總分為25分,書面報告佔15分,口頭報告佔10分,於報告中,清楚交代小組各成員之貢獻。沒作口頭報告之小組,則此部分為0分。表現優異者,其分數最高可達30分。

The course also includes nano materials and nano technology.
