課程目標 每個人都可能不停地想,卻不見得常常在思考。即使一個人開始思考或學習思考時,同時有相當多會影響、甚至支配思考的東西出現,諸如:成見、情緒、情感、印象等等,它們將思考引向歧途,強化了我們既有的成見或印象。此刻,我們即需要一套思考的方法,一方面不斷地修正我們的成見,另一方面更積極地建立自己的論點和主見。 Objectives Logic is the study of arguments. Logic is used in most intellectual activities, but is studied primarily in the disciplines of philosophy, mathematics, and computer science. Logic examines general forms which arguments may take, which forms are valid, and which are fallacies. It is one kind of critical thinking. In philosophy, the study of logic figures in most major areas of focus: epistemology, ethics, metaphysics. In mathematics, it is the study of valid inferences within some formal language.

教學內容 思想的內容與思想的方式是一件有趣的事情
,如何將邏輯的思考融入生活的條理之中,是本課程的教學目的。

每個人都可能不停地想,卻不見得常常在思考。即使一個人開始思考或學習思考時,同時有相當多會影響、甚至支配思考的東西出現,諸如:成見、情緒、情感、印象等等,它們將思考引向歧途,強化了我們既有的成見或印象。此刻,我們即需要一套思考的方法,一方面不斷地修正我們的成見,另一方面更積極地建立自己的論點和主見。

希望在本課程能活化邏輯的知識,藉著種種的課程活動:如辯論比賽及分組討論,能使同學們在枯燥的邏輯之外,對思考能有更多之訓練方法。
