Objectives |

| 教學內容 |
本課程的目的，在於使同學們對人生具有反省之能力。我們將透過哲學家事蹟、進至對人類文明歷史之探討，以期明瞭各個文明、先哲對於人生之看法與差異。鑒往知來，使同學們明白自己人生的意義及價值，同時確立自己人生未來努力的方向。
課程內容方面，主要包含西方哲學與中國先秦儒家思想。西方哲學講述之範圍，著重於古埃及、古希伯萊以及古希臘三大古文明之世界觀，尤其著重於古希臘神話故事的分析與討論。至於中國先秦儒家思想的部分，則偏重在《論語》思想的介紹及闡述。同時也將針對孔子弟子志行之論述，透過較為通俗、故事性的方式，來探討其中的深意及其對於自我生命的反省。 |
Syllabus |
The course will help students to reflection about their life. This term we will read some history of Western and Chinese culture. This course involves fore culture: Chinese, Greece, Hebrew and Egypt. This plan will give fresh impetus to students to know what the important things of their life. |
