Objectives |
This course introduces the fundamental theory of fracture mechanics. Its content will relate to the applications on various materials and structures. Construction materials such as steel and concrete will be the main topics discussed in this course. Recitation and laboratory assignment are designated in this course |

此課程在於使學生進一步瞭解常用工程材料之破裂行為及理論。內容將介紹各種破壞理論, 包括應力集中及疲勞等常見之材料破壞機理;並透過專題製作,針對不同材料可設計不同試件進行試驗或模擬分析演練;加深同學對材料破壞過程的體驗。 |
Syllabus |
This course introduces the fundamental fracture mechanics theory and its application in engineering design and analysis. Other topics including stressconcentration and fatigue. Each student will complete a special topics relating in this class. |
