Objectives |
The course is designed as an introduction to playing the piano. Curriculum content includes note reading in bass and treble clefs, rhythmic reading, and other basic musical skills. Technical exercises are designed to aid students in playing the piano. Piano pieces are selected that are appropriate for beginning to advanced players. Ensemble pieces are also included in the curriculum. |
