Objectives |
The initial priority of this course is to facilitate students to understand etymology (prefix, suffix, and root), grammatology, and syntax. After all these trainings, students can be given advanced theory of translation. |

3. 課後同學必須要將中文版中翻譯錯誤與不妥的地方題出自己的看法 |
Syllabus |
Students in this semester should not only read both Chinese and English editions of the same novel: Clare Morrall's "Natural Flights of the Human Mind" and Diane Setterfield's The Thirteenth Tale and memorize dictionary of common translation with a view to upgrading their English capability. They should also report translaiton errors in this novel and submit their perspectives. |
