主要是建立學生自信並學習如何公開作英文演說。內容由淺而深、循序漸進。演說技巧由如何克服緊張開始；分析聽眾、演講實況，進而設計、準備演說及收集資料至如何作場成功的英文演說。 |
Objectives |
After completing this course, students will be able to give speeches effectively. The contents are designed step by step from how to control nervousness to how to design/ deliver speeches and how to prepare to speak, including analysing the speaking situation and audience, collecting data and outlining speeches. The informative and persuasive speeches will be emphasized. |

提升演說自信心，由演說前的選擇題目、收集資料、紀錄重點、組織大綱到傳達訊息的肢體語言，讓學生藉由不同的題材作演說的練習。並介紹多媒體和網路的運用，如何說服他人與辯論，團體間的討論，多國文化的溝通要點，即席演說，傾聽的藝術等，達到英文演說的學習。 |
