決策支援系統(DSS)應用計算機來協助決策。課程中說明DSS的組態、特性及其功能 ，介紹需要的組件，例如資料管理、模式管理、使用者介面及知識管理等次系統。也討論新資訊技術的應用，像是資料探勘、線上分析處理(OLAP)及類神經網路等。 |
Objectives |
DSS is a computerized system for helping make decisions. This course describes the possible DSS configuration, characteristics and capabilities and provides the required components such as the data-management sub-system, the model-management subsystem, the user-interface (dialog) subsystem, the knowledge-based management subsystem. The related new technologies of state-of-the-art data mining, OLAP, expert system, and neural network software are also discussed. |

本課程將透過決策支援系統的理論分析與實務介紹，讓同學們能夠瞭解決策支援系統 (Decision Support Systems, DSS) 在組織中所扮演的角色、及其參與的任務，並透過實際案例的分享，讓同學們進一步瞭解DSS於目前產業現況中如何協助管理者制定決策，以及身為主管階級的我們該如何開發、設計與管理決策支援系統。
