地理資訊系統（Geographic Information Systems, GIS）和遙測技術(Remote Sensing,RS)自引進台灣後，已受到學術及政府單位重視，並應用於各種不同領域。本課程在於讓學生了解GIS和RS的發展及其基本理論，同時藉由實際GIS軟體的實例操作，讓學生獲知GIS和RS如何應用於環境規劃事務上。 |
Objectives |
After Geogrphic Information Systems (GIS) and (Remote Sensing, RS) have been introduced in Taiwan, GIS has been a hot application for academic research and governmental decision making. GIS and RS can be used for environmental planning, natural resources management, planning and development and military use etc. Students can realize the development and the basic theory of GIS and RS in this course. Also students can learn real world examples from the laboratory exercises. |
