Objectives 1. The objective of this course to study assistive device applications of the elderly.
2. What are the benefits of assistive technology?
For many seniors, assistive technology makes the difference between being able to live independently and having to get long-term nursing or home-health care. For others, assistive technology is critical to the ability to perform simple activities of daily living, such as bathing and going to the bathroom.

教學內容 本課程講述有關身障與老人福利相關法令政策、輔具發展、各類輔具與科技之應用、無障礙設計和通用設計之意涵並實際操作各類輔具。此外還介紹日本輔具的相關制度與其市場發展現況。 Syllabus This course will teach students the applications of assistive device for the elderly.For many seniors, assistive technology makes the difference between being able to live independently and having to get long-term nursing or home-health care.
