本課程是以電視、廣播及網站英文為教學重點，以實際英文節目和網站為教材來練習與討論，找尋重點反覆練習，進而能靈活運用。另外，訓練能把聽到或看到的英文翻譯成中文,以及英語媒體慣用俚語之瞭解與使用，亦為此課程之重點。 |
Objectives |
We will use the real TV programs, Broadcastings, and Websites for teaching materials. We might try to translate the contents of these English shows into Chinese. Role-playing practice is also an important class activity. We’re going to try to enhance students’ English four skills after this course. Moreover, media slang will be another point. |

TV shows, movies and websites are common, easily-accessible medium for English learners who wish to get familiar with a different culture and various ways of verbal/written expression. The course focuses on the translational training and understanding of these materials. |
