Objectives |
We will introduce the fundamental concepts of quantum mechanics, e.g., the wave functions, Schrodinger equation, atomic orbitals of hydrogen atom, and molecular orbitals from LCAO, as well as the concepts of symmetry and group theory. |

Following the course "Structure of Atoms and Molecules", we'll introduce the electronic configuration of atoms, atomic spectroscopy, simple bonding theory, symmetry and group theory, molecular orbitals, and molecular spectroscopy. |
