1.認識一般百姓的生活習俗及各項風俗對於百姓生活的影響。2.尋找一般百姓生活的基本特徵，討論民間風俗對於一般百姓生活的約束力，瞭解一般百姓的行為規範。3.說明台灣今日社會風俗之傳承與演變，觀察今日台灣民間風俗之概況。 |

民俗是最為貼近人民生活的一環，人民在食、衣、住、行、婚喪喜慶、生活作息等各方面皆受其影響。所有民俗的出現無不是在特殊的歷史、社會條件下人們在心靈祈求美好、物質需求滿足等前提下的產物，不但貼近人民生活，也是最為貼近人性的一環。因此，透過認識民間各種生活民俗，以及民俗創造與演變的過程，我們除了可明白民間風俗對於一般人民生活的約束力與影響外，更可以尋找出人民生活的基本特徵，進而瞭解影響人民的深層行為規範。透過這種對民俗分析能力的培養，更可進一步地讓學生從民俗傳承與演化，瞭解台灣當代社會的變遷以及這些變化對自身產生的影響。 |
