有關性別各方面議題的介紹與探討，包括男女兩性權利與角色之歷史回顧、女權運動的發展、女性主義論述、性別差異、兩性關係與性別正義等，期望協助修習同學建立兩性平等之意識並落實在日常生活與社工專業中。 |

| 教學內容 |
「性別議題」捨棄慣見的「兩性」為題，而以「性別」為題，即意在較貼近真實的社會性別狀態及處境。故之，本課程並不在於教導兩性相處之道或單一性別的理解。相反地，本課程有意藉由日常生活的經驗、觀察與討論，先帶入各種性別困擾(gender trouble)，再來討論
生物性(biological sex)與社會性別(social gender)的劃異，然後是環繞著性別的權力機制及可能的策略行動。特別要提出的是，陽剛氣質研究或男性研究亦是本課的重點之一。
此外，本課程非常在意討論和上課狀況，也因此課後memo及一個期末前要繳交的實做習題（會和老師經過多次討論）都是評量的重點。
本課程初步擬選擇《性別與女性研究手冊》為主要習本，但也將選擇不少精彩的單篇文章來輔助。我們希望能夠就各領域的性別與女性研究提供批判性的分析，研究範圍包括了工作場域、福利國家、家庭、教育、宗教、暴力與戰爭以及女性主義的全球性政治。除了最基本的性別概念議題外，將對當代女性研究、性別研究，以及更晚近之男性研究現況及走向，進行扼要說明，包括陽剛特質、後現代女性主義、「文化轉向」與全球化的研究等。涵蓋的性別議題從微觀的「家庭」、「性」、「親密關係」面向；到宏觀的「工作」、「國家」(福利國家的女性主義)、「科技」、面向；因應時局變遷把視角拉高到「全球」的層次，深入探討了全球化為性別議題帶來的衝擊和影響。 |
Syllabus |
"Gender issues" are used to be closer to the real situation of gender status and encounter. Therefore, the teaching of this course does not mean to lead some way for men and women or focus on single-sex. On the contrary, the intention of this course departured from experience, observation and discussion in everyday life, and then bring the issues on "gender trouble". Finally, try to propose some action and possible strategy. In particular to point out is that the masculine or men's study is also one of the focuses of this lesson. |
