課程目標 本課程目標是讓學生能學到以設定之主題,分為正反兩面進行辯論之方式、流程及技巧。全程以英文進行,以增進英語口語溝通及邏輯思考能力。 Objectives This course is to set up the themes for groups debating. The learning goal is to increase the student’s oral speaking skills and logical thinking through the debate for positive and negative aspect.

教學內容 1. 以放鬆的心情練習職場中以英文應對、談判、辯論的技巧;
2. 由美國文化切入,學習辯論語言的應用;
3. 介紹各種運用英文辯論或談判的情境並做實務練習;
4. 觀摩及講解律師電影關於辯論技巧的對白;
5. 練習公開及正式場合以英文辯論談判應注意的態度及技巧
Syllabus Week 1-4:
Introduction to course; basic techniques; discussion on lawyer dramas; arguments on selected topics; group presentation practice.
Week 5-8:
Lawyer drama discussion; short argument practice; drafting outlines for arguments; use gestures to strengthen argument.
Week 9-13:
Preliminary exercise in debate ; group debate and discussion on a given issue.
Week 14-18:
Drafting debate proposal; Group debate; one-on-one practice.
