Objectives | This course aims to introduce students systematically to fundamental listening skills as well as everyday conversation. Authentic materials, including movie clips, songs, and dialogue with settings in Taiwan and the U.S., will be used for enhancing listening comprehension and speaking ability. The wide range of aural and oral activities will be provided in order to stimulate students’ interests in practicing and, further, to achieve the goal of applying learned English for everyday life. |

Syllabus | The course helps students develop listening and speaking for social, and daily life purposes. The material- Impact Listening3 makes listening an active and enjoyable experience by an abundance of natural listening input and a variety of creative activities. Teacher will be presented in class. Students are expected to listen and speak through different topics in the text. Role play activity will be presented in the class. Tests will cover both the textbook content and various listening materials. |
