本課程經由各種台灣民俗藝術的介紹、欣賞與探討，使修習者對台灣常民及原住民的生活文化有具體而深層的體會，經由認知基礎培養民俗藝術題材的鑑賞素養，進而對台灣本土文化的發展建立宏觀而包容的認知態度，以擴大人文視野和襟懷。 |
Objectives |
By the introduction, appreciation, and discussion of any kind of folk culture arts in Taiwan, the main purpose of this course for students is to concrete and realize deeply on the culture of local people and indigene in Taiwan. It also can cultivate the appreciatory equipment of the folk arts through the base of cognition. Furthermore, to establish a more macroscopic and permissive attitude for the development of Taiwan local culture. It will expand students’ humanities vision and aspiration from this course. |

| 成績評量方式 |
學期考試與研究報告寫作各佔百分之五十；課堂出席率及學習互動表現加權百分之二十。
備註：本課程可因修課同學期望、課程設計需要，每學期安排一到兩次戶外參觀教學，於週六、週日假日舉行，活動時程於學期初課堂中和同學一起計畫討論，計畫定案向校務活動相關主管部門提出申請報備，修課同學可作為學期報告撰寫資材，並列入課堂互動表現成績評量。 |
Grading |
Grading is based on the midterm exam and the final (50%), a research paper and interaction in class( include attendance) (50%). |

Syllabus |
This main content of this curriculum is to instruct students in the folk culture and arts of Taiwanese and aborigines. It also focuses on discussing those issues above.
There are including: folk belief, festival activities, traditional crafts, folk techniques, drama, ballad, architectural arts in tradition style, indigene arts and so on. |
