本課程兼顧理論與實務教導社工所同學如何實施社會團體工作，以理論講述，配合同學親身參與團體之經驗，介紹如何運用社會工作理論設計低結構小團體為媒介，來協助案主成長，激發潛能，並帶來有意義改變。接受同學與老師提問，在文獻的收集方面，至少要有一半是近期專業中英文期刊。 |
Objectives |
Advanced Social Group Work aims to provide the student with the basic theoretical underpinning of group dynamics, to develop competence in analyzing group process, and to enable the application of group work method in helping the individual, family, organization, and community. The research topics should not be repeated among groups. Each group should propose their topic, participants, how to recruit participants, literature review, research method, and results in the class. |

The service area of family social work can be very broad. That is, any factors which challenge the function of a family, including children with developmental problems, teenager crisis, aging elders, domestic violence, divorce, loss spouse, poverty and financial crisis etc. |
