課程目標 本課程將採用理論與實務結合的方式探究幼兒遊戲的理論,與其在幼兒教育的應用。課程內容包含遊戲之基本理論、幼兒遊戲與幼兒發展的關係、幼兒遊戲的發展歷程、遊戲的環境規劃、成人在幼兒遊戲中之角色、遊戲材料、遊戲與幼兒教育的關係等。此外,本課程要求修習者參與課堂的問題討論,分享讀書心得,並對他人的課堂分享提出回饋。在修習完本課程之後, 學習者應能熟悉幼兒遊戲的基本理論,並能瞭解與觀察幼兒遊戲型態與其發展的關係,以扮演適當之專業角色. Objectives The course examines theories of young children’s play and their applications on early childhood education by integrating theories and practices. The content includes basic theories of play, relations between young children’s play and development, developmental processes of young children’s play, planning and arranging environments for play, adults’ role in children’s play, play materials, and relations between play and early childhood education. The course requires students to participate in class discussion, share reading insights, and provide feedbacks to other people’s opinions. After completion of the course, students are expected to have a good understanding of basic theories of young children’s play, to know and observe types of young children’s play and their relations to children’s development, and to play an appropriate and professional role.

Syllabus This course combine theory and research knowledge on children's play, including topics of play development, theories of play, adults' role in children's play, development of play, play environment, play materials as well as play and early childhood education. The focus includes theories of play and its implications for practical application with emphasis on young children.
