Objectives |
This course is intended to show the students how to make good translation from English into Chinese and vice versa with the help of some practical theories, and to guide the students step by step to the attainment of good translation through appropriate exercises and detailed discussions. |

本學期課程以強化學生翻譯實務與單字能力的提升,因此學生必須要翻譯三本英文小說, 期中考前一本, 期末考一本, 報告一本. 此外在強化單字能力上, 同學必須研讀英文搭配字典, 增強實力. |
Syllabus |
The course in this semester is to intensify students' practical training in translation and to enrich students' vocabulary capability. Students are required to translate three novels: one for the midterm, another for the final, and the other for the report. Besides, they should memorize words in the collocation dictionary. |
