| 課程目標 | 本課程之目標在於增進學生閱讀及瞭解科技類英文文獻之能力。藉由建立常用的科技用語、片語、句型及文法的知識，本課程將協助學生能在廣泛的科學或工程領域文獻中，快速地閱讀、瞭解、並擷取重要資訊。 | Objectives | The goal of this course is the improvement of students' ability to read and understand technical English literature. By building the knowledge of commonly used technical vocabulary, phrase, sentence, and grammar, this course helps students to quickly read, understand, and extract important information from materials in a wide range of science and engineering areas. |

| 教學內容 | 本課程主要的目的在於讓學生將其所學之英文技巧做科技上的應用，包含聽說讀寫。除了讓學生瞭解科技上常用的字彙、片語、句型外，更重視學生如何利用這些英文應用在資訊科技職場以及日常生活中。故本課程除了著重於一般英文的字彙、片語、句型外，更將重點放於學生如何應用英文。期中報告為分組介紹一英文軟體，期末報告為利用課堂以及以錢所學建立一英文電子商務網站。 | Syllabus | The main purpose of this subject focuses on the English application in technology, which includes listening, speaking, reading and writing. We pay attention not only on the English vocabulary, phrase and sentence but also on the English application of IT environment and daily life. Thus, this subject emphasizes how students apply English to their professionals. The middle report is to introduce an English software and the final report is to build an English e-commerce website by groups. |
